Working out…

Most people that know me know that I’m a workout junkie.  Over the last two and half years I have consistently done a number of Beachbody workouts including all of Tony Horton’s workouts especially P90X, but also P90X2 and P90X3.    I got tremendous results, but I got tired of working out to a DVD so this Fall I tried something new…  Jeff Cavaliere’s 90 day AthleanX program.  I love it, love it, love it.   Jeff is a physical therapist and a professional trainer for a major league baseball team.   He REALLY knows what he’s talking about and his workouts are intense and only 30 minutes long… in fact, some of his workouts are 20 minutes long.  What I like most is NO MORE DVDs.

I have really enjoyed working out to PRAISE music which makes my workout a WORSHIP experience.  Recently, I’ve even posted various scriptures to meditate on while I’m working out which feeds my soul.  Some of them are listed below…

1 Corinthians 6:19–20
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Romans 12:1
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Isaiah 40:29–31
29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Colossians 3:23–24
23 And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, 24 knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

4 that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor,
