A GRAND TIME!

Well, its our last night in Arizona. After three AWESOME days at the Grand Canyon were headed back to TEXAS in the morning. (Please pray for our trip back!) The experience at the Canyon was MESMERIZING! I could’ve just sat there for hours and just stared at the view. It reminded my of what the Psalmist said…

“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?” – Psalm 8:3-4

Overall, we spent the last couple of weeks at the McDonald Observatory, Ruidoso, Angel Fire, Taos, Albuquerque, Flagstaff, and the Grand Canyon.

As I reflect on the last seven weeks, my Study Sabbatical has been TOTALLY successful. By God’s grace, I’ve met all three of my goals: (1) I am set to finish reading through the OT and NT way ahead of schedule and have drawn closer to the Lord. (2) I have definitely taken my physical fitness to the next level. (3) I have spent some special and priceless time with my family.

Now I’ll be transitioning back into the Pastorate. My family will be back in just a couple of days and I’ll be driving out to spend some time with my parents and will be working on a preaching schedule for the Fall. I look forward to being being back in the pulpit on August 22nd at the GATHER AT THE RIVER CELEBRATION.

Thank you again for all your support and prayers during my Sabbatical. We look forward to seeing you all!
